Recruitment that creates a positive impact for people, businesses and the planet

Certified B Corporation® | Ethical Recruitment Consultancy | Values Led Recruitment | Worthing, Sussex & across the UK

People Finding Consultancy was founded on the belief that recruitment should do more than fill vacancies. It should help businesses grow responsibly, create fulfilling careers and leave a positive impact on the communities around us.

As a Certified B Corporation®, my commitment to ethical recruitment, transparency and responsible business has been independently verified against internationally recognised standards for social, environmental and governance performance.

Whether I’m supporting a founder led business with its first hire or managing an end to end recruitment process, my aim is always the same, to help organisations build thriving teams while operating in a way that benefits people, businesses and the planet.

Looking for recruitment that reflects your values?

Whether you’re making your first hire or growing your team, I’d love to learn more about your business.

  • I work from home most of the time to cut down on travel and reduce my carbon footprint.
  • I use renewable energy, recycle as much as possible, and choose energy-efficient equipment.

  • I keep printing to a minimum and use digital-first tools for communication and documentation.

  • I only save what’s necessary electronically and regularly clear emails, files and unused apps
  • I use natural cleaning and body products, avoiding harmful chemicals.
  • I eat a vegetarian diet and avoid products containing palm oil.
  • I buy second-hand or sustainably made office supplies where possible
  • I support small, local businesses, especially those led by women

These small choices add up and reflect my commitment to ethical, sustainable recruitment.

What being a Certified B Corporation means

People Finding Consultancy meets B Lab’s integrated social, environmental and governance standards.

Certification isn’t a badge that’s awarded once and forgotten. It represents an ongoing commitment to measuring, improving and being accountable for the impact my business has on people, communities and the environment.

As part of the global B Corp community, I’m proud to stand alongside more than 10,000 businesses using business as a force for good and working collectively towards an economy that benefits everyone.

Research from B Lab Global shows that Certified B Corporations are:

3.1 times more likely to measure their social and environmental performance through defined KPIs.

3.7 times more likely to embed social and environmental goals into key business decisions.

These are just two examples of the standards that Certified B Corporations commit to achieving and continually improving.

What this means for my clients

Choosing a Certified B Corporation means choosing a recruitment consultancy that has made a public commitment to doing business differently.

For my clients, that means:

  • Recruitment that puts people before placements.
  • Honest advice, even if that means telling you I’m not the right person to help.
  • Transparent pricing and clear communication.
  • Fair, inclusive and ethical recruitment processes.
  • Long term hiring decisions rather than quick fixes.
  • Working as an extension of your business, protecting your reputation throughout every stage of the recruitment journey.

Certification simply provides independent reassurance that the values my clients already experience are embedded throughout my business.

Could this be the support your business needs?

Every recruitment project starts with a conversation about your business, your people and your goals.

Everyday sustainability in practice

Sustainability isn’t something that only happens during an assessment. It’s reflected in the everyday decisions I make, including:

Working primarily from home to reduce unnecessary travel.

Using renewable electricity and energy efficient equipment.

Keeping printing to an absolute minimum by working digitally wherever possible.

Regularly removing unnecessary files and emails to reduce digital storage.

Recycling wherever possible.

Choosing natural cleaning products and avoiding unnecessary chemicals.

Buying second hand or sustainably produced office equipment where practical.

Supporting local, independent and purpose driven businesses whenever I can.

Small actions won’t solve every challenge, but together they help create a business that genuinely reflects my values.

Choosing clients and suppliers carefully

The businesses I work with matter just as much as the way I work.

Whenever possible, I choose suppliers who demonstrate strong environmental and social responsibility, including local businesses, Certified B Corporations, Living Wage Employers and organisations with clear commitments to inclusion.

Likewise, I work best with founder led and values driven businesses that genuinely care about their people and want recruitment to be a positive experience for everyone involved.

Recruitment with purpose

I believe ethical recruitment should be accessible, which is why I continue to offer reduced fees for charities, social enterprises, community organisations, other B Corp™ businesses and early stage purpose driven businesses where I can make a meaningful difference.

Creating better workplaces shouldn’t only be available to organisations with the biggest budgets.

Supporting our local community

Business can be a force for good, not only through the way we work but through the difference we make beyond our day to day services.

That’s why I donate 2% of every sale to Sight Support Worthing, helping to fund practical and emotional support for people living with sight loss across Worthing and the surrounding areas.

Every client I work with contributes to this impact, meaning each recruitment project helps support local people as well as local businesses.

Every recruitment project creates a positive impact

When you choose People Finding Consultancy, you’re not only investing in finding the right person for your business. You’re also supporting a local charity and working with a Certified B Corporation that’s committed to creating a positive impact for people, businesses and the planet.

If you’re looking for a recruitment partner whose values genuinely shape the way they work, I’d love to hear more about your business.

My ethical recruitment pledge

Recruitment shapes lives.

For that reason, I choose not to work with organisations whose activities fundamentally conflict with my values, including sectors linked to gambling, tobacco, fossil fuel production, factory farming, animal testing, blood sports and certain extractive industries.

This isn’t about judging others. It’s about ensuring the businesses I support are aligned with the impact I want my own business to have.

Measuring and improving our impact

Becoming a Certified B Corporation isn’t the finish line.

It marks the beginning of an ongoing commitment to improve.

I continually review how People Finding Consultancy operates, measuring the impact of my decisions and looking for opportunities to become more responsible, more inclusive and more sustainable every year.
